Cat Lodging FAQ’s

We would love to have your cat stay with us! As long as they have completed the full series of vaccinations no less than 72 hours before check-in, they’re welcome to come play at the Lodge.
Keeping families together is easy, thanks to our spacious cat condos and enclosures! We are happy to accommodate multi-cat households, and if you have any additional questions about boarding them, feel free to contact us.
While a guest at the Green Beagle Lodge, your cat will be given ample time to explore the cattery. In addition to plenty of toys and scratch pads, their lounge offers a comfy sofa, windowsills for watching birds at the feeders, and an aquarium stocked with colorful fish. Whether your cat is a couch kitty or very active (or a combination of the two), our cattery will provide hours of entertainment and relaxation. Our staff can supplement with cuddling, brushing, and games.
We require your cat’s current vaccination records before check-in. You can ask your veterinarian to email or fax (844-269-6719) your cat’s records to us. The requisite forms can either be sent to us ahead of time or when you arrive for check-in. We request that any special needs your cat may have be discussed ahead of your arrival. Feel free to call us if you are unsure of anything and we’ll be happy to answer your questions!
You can make your reservation by calling or emailing us, and we require that all new clients’ reservations be confirmed either by phone or in person. If you would like to make a reservation for any holiday or busy travel season, we encourage you to do so far in advance, if possible.
During the summer season and for weekends, we ask that you communicate your cancellation to us at least 3 days prior to the start of your reservation. Doing so will enable us to give your time to another cat-owner who needs it.

For all major holidays, we require a non-refundable boarding deposit of two night’s stay per pet. These holidays include Easter, the 4th of July,  Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.

If you cancel your boarding reservation prior to 14 days of the original check-in date (when boarding over a holiday), your boarding deposit will be held on your GBL account for one year and can be used for a future service. If you cancel within the 14 days of the original check-in date, your deposit will be forfeited.

If you shorten your holiday stay by MORE THAN TWO NIGHTS, within ten weeks of the original check-in date, you forfeit your deposit.

We would love to give you a tour of our beautiful resort! If you are interested, you can visit the Green Beagle Lodge between 11 A.M. and 2:30 P.M. on weekdays (excluding holidays), or by appointment on Saturdays. We do a pet-free tour.
We know that familiar toys or blankets can be a source of comfort for your cat while they stay in an unfamiliar place. We ask that you limit the number of items to two favorite things (toys, small blankets, etc.), and that you clearly mark them with your cat’s first name and last name. These two items must be able to withstand daily washing or sanitizing with our cleaning products. We advise you not to pack anything especially precious, as these articles may be lost or damaged during your cat’s stay in spite of our preventative efforts. If you cat’s item come in unlabeled, we will mark these items with their name in either permanent marker or masking tape.
If your cat is in need of veterinary attention while in our care, we will first call you or your designated emergency contact to determine the best course of action. If your cat’s condition requires an emergency visit to a veterinarian, we will take them to one of our choosing. Any medical costs we pay on your cat’s behalf will be added to your bill at check-out.
