Margy and David, both originally from Pennsylvania, moved to Chapel Hill in 2001 via Los Angeles and then London. In London, Margy belonged to a dog walking society with their beloved British Beagle, Bing. After moving back to the US with their two toddlers, Sophie and Will, in tow, they set down deep roots in NC.
Their love of their own dogs and the idea of creating a dog community gave birth years later to the Green Beagle Lodge. Margy and David enjoy walking their dog, Bing II, sports, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Tammy and Drew have shared a love for animals, especially dogs, since they met in California many years ago. Tammy grew up on property next to the Lodge in Chapel Hill. She and Drew moved back to NC in 2003 to raise their two sons adjacent to her childhood home. Drew was a police canine handler in Southern California which helped expand their knowledge of dogs.
They have two pups of their own, Shiloh, a Beagle born in 2008, and Samantha, a German Shepherd born in 2020. They enjoy hiking, traveling, and meeting all the new furry friends that come to the Lodge.

Brian’s family once ran PBK’s Kennel, breeding and raising Great Danes. Aside from his passion for animals and the Lodge, Brian and his family are huge in the local disc golf community. Brian currently runs the annual North Carolina Junior Disc Golf Championships as well as other tournaments in the area and his son Judah has been rated as high as second in the world in his age bracket.
