Getting Started with Gingr

1. Log in to Your New Account

Check your email! You should have received an email from Gingr with instructions on signing in. You will need to reset your password to your account imported from PetExec.

2. Sign Your Agreement

Once you’ve logged into your new Gingr account, you will need to re-sign the 2025 GBL Services agreement. Navigate to the Account tab and select Waivers & Agreements.

3. Update Your Credit Card on File

Once you’ve logged in and signed your agreement, add your credit card info! Under the Account tab, find the Manage Profiles section. Click Edit under your personal information. Find the credit card section on this form.

Why We Are Switching

We’re upgrading to a system that will improve our scheduling across both facilities! We are eager to bring an updated look and feel to the way that you book a reservation, check in, and interact with our team.

FAQ

  • For the past decade, we have used PetExec software to schedule services, to manage reservations, to maintain a database of pet and client information, to communicate with clients, and to perform a variety of other functions that are essential to our daily operations.  
  • Your Owner Portal, where you have been able to update your information, to sign your General Service agreements, and to request services, is also a part of our PetExec software.
  • In the next couple of weeks, we plan to migrate from PetExec to a different software called Gingr 
  • Late last year, PetExec was purchased by Togetherwork, who own Gingr, a pet hospitality software company.
  • We have been able to continue to use PetExec in the meantime, but we have decided to take advantage of the opportunity to switch to Gingr, a software that we feel will allow us to grow further and provide a better experience for you and our Staff.
  • Gingr offers several benefits, including a convenient App for your mobile device(s) and the ability to easily request and book your own services.
  • We understand that this change may feel sudden, but we can assure you that our Team has carefully considered all aspects of this transition.

  

  • We have evaluated a range of software options in recent months, but after confirming that Gingr could provide the features that we require (and more!), training our Staff properly, and ensuring that we are prepared to initiate the transfer, we can share that we feel Gingr is the best fit for the Lodge moving forward.
  • We are finally ready to transition to Gingr, and we have prepared extensively to help make the process as easy and efficient as possible for you and for our Team.
  • Most of your information will transfer automatically to Gingr between late Thursday night and early Friday morning.  All of your pet’s information will transfer from your existing PetExec account to Gingr, including vaccination records, health information, and notes about their behavior and personality that makes them uniquely them!

  

  • However, due to our compliance with PCI standards and other factors, you will need to enter some information manually when accessing your Gingr account for the first time.
  • Your General Services Agreement will have to be re-signed and you will have to re-enter your Credit Card information.
  • Neither your credit card information nor documents that have your signature will be transferred in the data conversion process, to comply with PCI standards.  

  

  • You will need to enter your credit card information manually once you have gained access to your Gingr account.  
  • Yes, you will need to sign a new agreement since we are unable to transfer any documents that have your signature. 

  • By North Carolina law, we are required to have a signed agreement on file for each client before we can provide them with any pet care services. 

  • We appreciate your patience with this legally necessary inconvenience!

Yes, your credit(s) will transfer to Gingr as part of your account information.

  • Gingr will send you an email on Friday morning that will include your username and a link to set your password via the web portal.  

  

  • This email will also include a link to download the app so that you can set up your account on your mobile device.  

Gingr offers an easy-to-access internet portal and a convenient app, so you are welcome to use whichever option you prefer, or both!

You will find a link to sign into your account included in the email that Gingr will send to you.

  • You do not need to sign up for a specific location or maintain separate accounts for each location. 

  

  • Gingr supports multiple locations on one account, so you can select the Lodge location where you would like to schedule a particular service through a drop-down menu 

  

  • This convenient, client-friendly feature was one of the key reasons that we were excited to choose Gingr!
    • We are truly sorry for any stress, frustration, or inconvenience our unintended message may have caused you.   
    • Despite our careful efforts to update our client records and remove inactive accounts before transferring data from Petexec to Gingr, some former clients were unfortunately not deactivated in time.  
    • We appreciate your patience, and we ask that you please let us know if you no longer wish to receive any communication from the Lodge.
