As our lives grow busier than ever, it isn’t always possible to provide our dogs the exercise or attention we’d like to give them during the week. Instead, they can join us at the Green Beagle Lodge where our team of pet professionals can care for and play with your dogs in the same way you would. Just like at home, we strive to make your dogs feel comfortable, safe, and ensure they receive the individual care they need.
Enrichment sessions will focus on activities that encourage problem-solving, confidence-building, and natural canine behaviors. Each session will include a mix of puzzle games & scent work, agility-style exercises, confidence-building challenges, small group interactive play, one-on-one engagement with our trained staff.
Monday/Wednesday Enrichment – $400/month
Tuesday/Thursday Enrichment – $400/month
We offer the ability to attend daycare on a day-by-day basis. Rather than committing to the Daycare Enrichment Program, you can opt for paying for a Full of daycare individually.
Please Note: Availability for individual days depends on available spots and fluctuates depending on demand and the time of year.

Agility, fetch, tug, and other activities that help to improve coordination, strength, and stamina! Focus on exercise and movement activities (e.g., group play, obstacle courses).
Memory and learning activities that help to improve concentration! Focus on cognitive stimulation and problem-solving activities (e.g., training, puzzle toys).

To support each pup’s well-being, we incorporate regular rest breaks between activity blocks to help them stay relaxed and refreshed throughout the day.

At the Lodge, we understand that every dog is unique and we aim to tailor our services to address their individual needs. This process starts with your dog’s comprehensive on-site assessment. Prior to their first day of boarding or daycare, we require a half-day visit to assess your dog’s socials skills with other dogs and humans, how well they tolerate enclosures, and their feeding habits among other observations. The assessment will also give you dog a chance to get to know us too. Within 48 hours after the assessment, we’ll email you a detailed report that will give you an overview of your dog’s behaviors and social skills.
This assessment begins by completing a Pet Profile form. This form gives us a detailed look at your dog’s social, behavioral, and health history.
Because our assessments are a very involved, we do require an assessment fee of $50.00. This includes a half day of daycare as well as special one on one care to ensure their first day at the Lodge is as successful as possible. On the rare chance that your pet does not pass the assessment, you will never be charged this fee.
To schedule an assessment, please complete our Assessment Form. Alternatively you can reach out to our Client Services team via the chat widget in the bottom right corner, email us at “chapelhill@greenbeaglelodge.com”, or call us on (919) 929-7387.
To ensure the safety and happiness of all our guests, the following up-to-date vaccinations are required for any visit to the Lodge:
All pets must be in good general health to stay at the Green Beagle Lodge. Any pet known to have been exposed to a contagious virus must wait 30 days or until written clearance by his or her veterinarian is given before visiting the Lodge. If internal parasites are discovered, the pet will be quarantined and the owner will be called to discuss treatment plans.
These records can be requested from your vet and uploaded directly to your Owner Portal. Alternatively you can ask your veterinarian to send them directly to us at chforms@greenbeaglelodge.com.
We follow a rigorous program of flea and tick prevention. All pets must be on a monthly flea and tick prevention program. All pets will be checked thoroughly for fleas and ticks prior to admittance.
If any are fleas/ticks are found, the pet will be treated immediately, at the owner’s expense, before being allowed to enter the lodging area.
Our Pet Care specialists are happy to help administer any oral/topical medication that is taken at lunch time however we cannot provide vitamins or supplements.
Any pets who will be receiving medication during their visit must be provided within it’s original packaging. This policy also applies to all non-prescription supplements such as fish oil, allergy medications, etc.
If your dog is a puppy under one and a half years of age or has a medical condition that requires three meals per day, we are happy to provide that meal during their mid-day rest. All lunches must come in a plastic container or ziploc bag labeled clearly with your dog’s first and last name.
We do not administer supplements or vitamins for pets who join us for daycare. However, you can rest assured that any medically necessary or timed medications (oral or topical) can be administered while at daycare. If you would like us to medicate your dog, we require that you provide the medication in the original over-the-counter or prescription bottle.
During colder seasons, you are welcome to send your pet to daycare wearing a jacket/coat. No bedding, toys, or other belongings are required or permitted for daycare.
If you need to cancel or modify any scheduled service for your pet, we require that you do so at least 48 hours (about 2 days) ahead of check-in.
Cancelling a service within 48 hours will entail associated penalties and fees. Late daycare cancellations will result in the removal of one day from a current Daycare Package or the charge for one day to your account.
Costs will result in a charge for the service to the credit card on file or a debit placed on your account. No other services will be scheduled or accepted until this debit is cleared from your account.
